Terraforming San Marcos

Terraforming San Marcos is a game about photography. Relax in tranquil scenery as you line up for the perfect shot for your client; depending on what you capture, you'll receive a different response.

Set in my hometown of San Marcos, California, the game revolves around fulfilling a photography commission by a local home development company. Following the City's expansion of urban sprawl, the player visits hand-animated vignettes of various San Marcos locations from my childhood. The only button to press is the space bar, and you only get one photo to send in for review. And finally, every aspect of the game except for the camera shutter sound effect (from FreeSound.com) was my own device! There is a playthrough with some commentary included in the download in case you are unable to run it too.
